Synopsis: Shanghai is the official Hindi adaptation of Vassilis Vassiliko’s political thriller about the real-life assassination of a dynamic politician. It has been adapted by Dibakar Banerjee to the Indian context and pulls absolutely no punches in its depiction of contemporary Indian realities.The film speaks about the life of politicians and what are the problems faced by common man because of few greedy politicians. Filmmaker Banerjee is very much upbeat about his upcoming flick and is sure that it will do wonders at box-office. The film which is distributed by PVR Pictures is about to hit the silver screens by 8th June.
