Synopsis:
“Shahid – In Service of Truth“ is an upcoming Bollywood Thriller film starring Raj kumar Yadav, Prabhleen Sandhu and Baljinder Kaur in lead roles. The all features Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Kay Kay Menon, Vinod Rawat, Pawan Kumar and Prabal Panjabi in supporting roles. It is directed by Hansal Mehta and jointly Produced by Anurag Kashyap and Sunil Bohra under the banner AKFPL Production and Bohra Bros Pvt. Ltd. Shahid is written by Sameer Gautam Singh, Apurva Asrani and Hansal Mehta.

It is based on a real story of a lawyer and human right activist Shahid Azmi, who was assassinated in 2000 in Mumbaai. This story of an impoverished muslim struggling to comes to terms with injustice, inequality and rising above his circumstances is an inspiring testament to the human spirit.
